A true partner in Pride

Kellogg’s founder, W.K. Kellogg, once said “I’ll invest my money in people.” It’s why Kellogg established the employee resource groups K-Pride & Allies, which is a volunteer-led effort inside the company to raise awareness and acceptance of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) community. K Pride & Allies is one of eight Business Employee Resource Groups at Kellogg.

Kellogg’s commitment to people is why we’re proud to partner with GLAAD year-round, especially now in celebration of Pride Month.

Recently, Kellogg’s K-Pride & Allies donated $15,000 to GLAAD’s “Together in Pride” virtual fundraiser in support of CenterLink, a coalition of LGBTQ+ centers that are helping provide direct services to LGBTQ people during the COVID-19 pandemic. GLAAD has helped CenterLink raise over $225,000, and donations are still being accepted.

In addition, Kellogg’s brands donated $25,000 to GLAAD, with additional money raised through the launch of the 2019 All Together Cereal, bringing the total amount to $75,000.

Kellogg’s partnership with GLAAD helps to support the organization’s culture-changing work, which continues to create lasting impact for LGBTQ acceptance and equality.
