Discover the Power of Grains
Director, Global Nutrition and Scientific Affairs

Did you know that our early ancestors first farmed rice, corn and wheat in Asia, Mexico and the Near East – nearly 13,000 years ago?

Even way back then, people realized the power of grains, to fortify their diets and fill their tummies with goodness that didn’t cost much to grow.

And when W.K. Kellogg founded the Kellogg Company in 1906, he understood the power of grains and began to spread the message. Today, grains are still our most important ingredient here at Kellogg. Grains are affordable, adaptable and accessible, providing unique flavors, textures, colors and nutrition for a variety of delicious and nourishing foods.

We look for the best grains - responsibly sourced, sustainably grown - for our foods, from cereals and snacks to frozen meals. Our goal is to continue helping families around the world discover the power of grains through our wholesome grain-based foods.

In fact, we’ve just published a new “Power of Grains” brochure – a fun way to learn about the history of grains, the importance of grains in a healthy diet, and why grains are a sustainable food source for our planet.

Check it out today. While you’re at it, be sure to share which Kellogg grain-based food is your family’s favorite on Twitter by tagging @KelloggCompany.
