As such, we are committed to inclusion and celebrating moments in time that are significant and meaningful to all families. Each year during the month of June, Pride is celebrated across the country and around the world, recognizing the LGBTQ community’s history and progress for equality.

In celebration of Pride month, Kellogg is committing our support for the United Nations LGBTI Standards of Conduct for Business. By lending our name to this list, Kellogg reiterates our commitment to championing a diverse and inclusive workplace. By publically embracing these Standards, we become one of the first 150 companies to champion this commitment to inclusion, and are considered an ‘early adopter’ of this policy.

Throughout the month of June, our K Pride and Allies (KPA) teams in North America and Latin America sponsored and participated in Pride parades and celebrations. In New York, our Kellogg’s NYC Café celebrated Pride during the parade, with special events and foods.

KPA is one of eight Kellogg Business/Employee Resource Groups, whose mission is to enhance the Kellogg culture by ensuring that all employees can be authentic and fully engaged. Many members of KPA are open and visible straight allies, advocates and champions for LGBTQ people. Recently, our KPA co-chair shared what being an ally means to her on our corporate blog.

We are proud of our diverse workforce and have long been strong allies and supporters of LGBTQ employees, their families and the community. We have received many recognitions for our dedication and commitment to the LGBTQ community.  Highlights include:

• Designated a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality, after receiving a perfect score of 100 percent on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index (CEI), for the eighth consecutive year.

• DiversityInc recognized Kellogg as a Top 50 Company for Diversity and a Best Company for LGBTQ Employees.

• Kellogg Mexico was awarded the first international HRC certificate: Equidad MX.
